schedules

Category 1

If you fall under this category, you MUST send us your schedule every week by Saturday at 10:00 am at the latest:

  • You use Murphy and Me Pet Sitting on a weekly basis but the days and/or times change every week.

  • You use Murphy and Me Pet Sitting every week and your schedule is consistently the same. However, you have to make changes to the schedule for this week.

If a schedule is sent to us after 10:00 am on Saturday, there will be a $10 late fee added to your overall invoice, unless we are given sufficient reasoning ahead of time as to the cause for tardiness.

If you need to add a service AFTER you’ve already sent in your schedule, Murphy and Me Pet Sitting will do our best to accommodate you. Service is not guaranteed due to a large volume of clients. If Murphy and Me Pet Sitting is able to accommodate your changes, there will be a $1.00 service charge added to your overall invoice.

Category 2

If you fall under this category, you DO NOT need to send in your schedule every week:

  • You use Murphy and Me Pet Sitting every week and your schedule is consistently the same with no changes.

  • You use Murphy and Me Pet Sitting less frequently. Just here and there.

This process is to ensure that everyone’s schedules are organized in a timely and orderly fashion.


Payment

We currently accept cash, check, and Venmo for payment.

Payment for reoccurring weekly pet care is due by Friday every week.

Full payment for overnight care is due on the first day of service.

If you do not pay your invoice by the date requested, a late fee of $10 will be added to your invoice every 7 days until the total amount is paid in full.


Holiday Overtime pay

We currently charge an extra fee for the following major holidays:

New Years Eve and New Years Day

Memorial Day

Easter

4th of July

Labor Day

Thanksgiving

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Doggy Play Dates - added $25 per play date

Overnights - added $25 per overnight

Walks and Visits - added $10 per walk or visit


Time of service

Time of service will be no longer then the agreed amount of time. Any actions taken by a client within this time frame will be time spent from the overall service.

For example: If you book a 30 minute walk and you spend 10 minutes of that time looking for your pet’s leash, then 10 minutes will be deducted from the 30 minute time frame. This would leave only 20 minutes available for your pet’s walk.

Due to a high volume of clients, we have to adhere to a strict schedule in order to complete everyone’s service efficiently and on-time.


KEYS

If keys are needed for services required, they must be given to us during your orientation or left in a safe spot at your home on the first day of service. If you need the keys returned at any time, there must be an available spot for us to drop off the keys during our last visit with your pet. If we’re required to personally deliver the keys back to you, it will be an added $5 charge to your invoice for time and travel.


Aggressive Behavior during play dates

If your pet displays aggressive or violent behavior on a play date towards us or another pet, your dog will be sent home and will not be allowed to attend anymore play dates. No exceptions.


disclaimer in regards to play dates

While Murphy and Me Pet Sitting only accepts friendly dogs for play dates, we can’t control the behavior of non-play date dogs that belong to other people at the beach or park. Due to this circumstance, Murphy and Me Pet Sitting is not responsible for any altercations that may occur between your dog and another person’s dog outside of the play date group. Although this is an extremely rare occurrence, we recommend to all of our clients to keep this in mind before sending your dog on a play date.

In the event that an altercation takes place and your dog is injured, we will contact you immediately. If a major injury occurs and you cannot be reached, we will refer back to your Emergency Finance Agreement in your application, proceed to take your dog to the vet, and spend the agreed amount on medical care.


absence of PETS upon arrival

If we arrive at your home for a requested service and your pets are not there, we will be unable to complete the service and you will be charged the full amount.


Leashes and harnesses

If we arrive at your home and the leashes and/or harnesses for your pet(s) are missing or not available, we will be unable to complete the service and you will be charged the full amount.


parking

For places with limited parking such as apartment complexes, there MUST be an available spot for us to park in. If there is no parking available, we will be unable to complete the service and you will be charged the full amount.


Cancellation

Cancellations within 24 hours or less notice will be charged full price for the service requested. (play dates, visits, walks, & doggy daycare).

Overnight cancellations within 48 hours or less from the requested overnight date will be charged half the amount of your overall invoice.
